The center of Vietnam is not only famous by its rich culture but also impressive by its diversified nature. The former capital of Hue with its poetic charm, the brilliant history of the country, the hospitality of the local people, the breathtaking complex of caves welcome curious adventurers.

The day starts with a boat trip on Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda. We get on bike to leave the pagoda and cycle along the river to the Citadel of the last dynasty in Vietnam. Visit to the Great citadel including the Noon Gate, the Palace of Supreme Harmony, the Forbidden City, the Royal theatre, The Great Urns, Tu Duc mausoleum The morning excursion takes a break with a fascinating vegetarian lunch at a local painter’s house where the fast portrait of the visitors will be done by the owner. After lunch, continue cycling to Khai Dinh imperial tomb outstanding by its decoration. The ride heads the traditional handicraft village to experience how the famous Vietnamese conical hat is made. Cycle back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, cycle the countryside of Hue. Enjoy the fresh air, the peaceful landscape, the smile of local people along the road. Explore the history of the Thanh Toan covered bridge build in 18th century. Cycle back to Hue for lunch then transfer to Phong Nha. Arrival and final arrangements for the next adventure. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast we take a transfer to the little village of Tan Hoa. Initial safety briefing will be done before setting off across sweeping fields to the Rao Nan River. Then we start climbing up a rocky slope to find the entrance of Secret Cave for our first exciting cave discovery. The trek continues through Hung Ton Valley up to Hung Ton Mountain then along the mountain ridge until Mango Mountain, where a picnic lunch is served. In the afternoon, the path leads us through Tu Lan Valley to our camp site. Relax or swim in a river. The evening would be a memorable time with a BBQ dinner around the campfire in the quiet nature. Overnight.
The sun rises with a new full day of adventure. We overcome the first challenge by swimming 200 m to explore Ken Cave. Trek back to the camp for a picnic lunch. After lunch, the second challenge comes with another 200 m swim into Tu Lan cave then a climb to the dry path back to the campsite. We take a short rest before trekking to Hang Kim where we swim to discover the cave. We leave the stream and follow a narrow path through the valley to the campsite set up in To Mo jungle nearby the waterfalls. We get recovered with a well prepared dinner and a deep sleep in the jungle.
After the breakfast, the last adventure comes with a 200m swim upstream to the waterfalls and through Hung Ton Cave. At the exit, a dry passage leads us to a 15 m ladder climb up to the entrance of the cave. We trek across Hung Ton Valley and over the hill to La Ken Valley to a lunch by the river. In the early afternoon, we visit Hang Chuot and walk across the spectacular fields of Rao Nan River to Tan Hoa where we end the adventure with a cold drink. Showers and change can be done before transfer by road to Dong Hoi.
