Please take time to read the conditions of booking set out below prior to book a trip with Orient Horizon. By booking with Orient Horizon, it is understood that you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Unless specific agreement/ notification made, the package tour is:
Inclusive of: Accommodation in twin share including breakfast, meals as indicated in the itinerary, private tour with English speaking guide, all entrance fees, boat excursions as per itinerary, land tour and transfer with A/C vehicle, domestic air tickets.
Exclusive of: International air tickets, visa, meals not mentioned in the itinerary, beverages, tip, personal expenses, surcharge on the period of Tet (Vietnamese New Year), Christmas, New Year or other Public Holidays, travel insurance, optional activities, services non mentioned in the “Inclusive of”.
Be informed the mentioned hotels are only for reference and depend on the availability at the time of booking. In case of non-availability, they will be replaced by the equivalent ones. Check-in time is 02:00PM and check-out time at 12:00PM.
The category of the room provided, unless specified in the program, is based on the standard category of the hotels. Upgrade of room category is on availability and subject to a surcharge. Please contact Sales Department upon booking for more information.
I. Reservation – Deposit – Payment
Booking must be made directly to the Tour Department by email to Orient Horizon. Within 03 days upon confirmation of the services/ tour, a deposit of 30% (thirty percent) of the total amount of the tour is required. The final payment must be done in full 30 days prior the arrival date in Vietnam. For booking made less than 45 days before the arrival date, full payment must be done within 03 days upon the confirmation of the services.
Payment is classed as being made only when it is actually received by Orient Horizon. In case the deposit/ full payment is not received on the due date, Orient Horizon reserves the right to cancel all reservations and cancellation charges will be applied.

II. Cancellation – Refund
Cancellation is only accepted in writing by email. The date of cancellation is the date on which Orient Horizon receive the notification.
II.1 Cancellation policy
Cancellation charge will be applied as follows:
More than 30 days before the arrival date : US$ 100
Between 30 and 21 days before the arrival date : 35 % of the cost of the trip
Between 20 and 08 days before the arrival date : 60 % of the cost of the trip
Between 07 and 03 days before the arrival date : 80% of the cost of the trip
Less than 03 days before the arrival date/ No show: Full charge
International/ domestic airfare cancellation fees imposed will be subject to the tariff regulations/ cancellation policy of the air carriers.
No refund will be made for unused services, tickets, vouchers after the commencement of the journey. Interruption or shorten of the journey due to any reason do not give the right to any refund.
All fares are net quoted in U.S dollars and valid at the period specified in the offer. These rates are subject to change in accordance to the fluctuation of the economy of the destination (inflation, exchange rate, fuel’s cost, tax reforms, etc.). However, Orient Horizon guarantees the price offered once full payment has been made.
IV. Travel document
IV.1 Travel insurance
It is strongly recommended that tourist takes out adequate insurance cover. Such insurance cover should provide sufficient coverage against unexpected cancellation charges, journey delays, medical costs that might be incurred while travelling overseas, loss of money, or belongings, or personal liability claims. In the event of a claim for loss or damages, in the first instance client should make such claim through the Insurance provider.
The name and contact details of the Insurance Company should be informed and would be helpful in case of the unlikely incident occurred.
IV.2 Travel Document
Passport: The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the return date of the trip.
Visa: Entry visa is required and can be issued upon arrival at the airport with pre-arrangements.
Orient Horizon is committed to do the best possible to provide the services confirmed in the programs. However, Orient Horizon reserves the right to modify, without prior notice, the sequence of the services provided and replace, in case of irregular situation, the services confirmed by the similar ones to assure a good process of a trip. Orient Horizon acts as an intermediary between the airlines, hotels, transportation companies and other local service providers therefore Orient Horizon cannot be held responsible for compensation or otherwise for any loss, damage to property or persons, delays, schedule changes, or for any irregularities independent of the will. Any additional costs that result from the irregularities beyond the control of Orient Horizon, such as but not limited to delays, accidents, natural disasters, political events, war, terrorism, etc. are on the charge of customers.
Programs, prices and services offered by Orient Horizon are valid at the time of programming and subject to change without prior notice.
VI. Complaints and claims
Complaints/ claims must be submitted, in writing, within 10 days following the date of completion of the services. Beyond the time limit, no full or partial reimbursement can be claimed.
All complaints will be managed by Orient Horizon, in priority, through negotiation in respect of the mutual interest of the parties involved. If the negotiation fails to come to the agreement, the case shall be submitted to Ho Chi Minh City People’s Court of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the final verdict.
