Welcome by the local guide at the airport and transfer to the city. Hanoi, capital of Vietnam since XI century, offers to the world its very authentic aspect: old temples, ancient traditional trading corners, narrow streets,and colonial quarters with wide tree-lined avenues, lakes and green parks and villas reminiscent of a French town of the 30s. In the afternoon visit Hanoi highlights: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum square, One Pillar Pagoda built in the early 11th century, Quan Thanh temple, Temple of Literature, Sword Lake and Ngoc Son temple, the old quarters. Day reserved to the adventure to North East highlands of the country. We take a road up to Son La. The trip passes through the mighty mountainous landscape, endless sugar cane plantations. We arrive at the Hmong village where all the people still wear their original dresses and keep in life their tradition. Welcome by the Khen – a traditional musical instrument- and folkloric dance. As a Hmong tradition, we start the visit to the home of the Chief of village there we can get an introduction about Hmong ethnic. Lunch is served at the local house. After a short rest, we participate in the activities of the village and visit the Hmong at their own houses. We leave the village in the farewell Hmong music performed by the villagers and arrive in Hanoi in the late afternoon.
The adventure continues to one of the Seven World’s Wonders. After breakfast, transfer by road to Ha Long bay. The name of Ha Long comes from the legend of the dragon going down to the sea. We board the lovely typical ship for an extraordinary cruise through thousand of islands, islets and rocks. Enjoy buffet lunch while sailing on the bay. In the afternoon, we experience a local rowing boat to visit Luon cave. The rest of the day is for swimming, relaxing on the beach or climbing up to the top of Rock mountain to enjoy a spectacular panorama view of the bay.Back to the ship. Relax and enjoy sunset on the sun deck while cruising to overnight anchorage. Sumptuous dinner is served on board following by a full relax in the peaceful and quiet night in the bay. The new day starts with Tai Chi class on the sundeck and sunrise on the bay. Enjoy coffee, tea and bakeries on board while cruising to Surprise grotto for a visit of the most impressive caves of the bay. Lying on the banks of Perfume River, Hue has been chosen capital of the country in 18th century. After breakfast, we enjoy a ballade on the Perfume River to visit legendary Thien Mu pagoda. The excursion continues to the Great citadel built in 1805 including: Noon Gate, Palace of Supreme Harmony, Forbidden City, Royal theatre, Great Urns, etc. After lunch at the typical restaurant, we drive to visit the tomb of Tu Duc King – one of the most beautiful royal architectural works of the Nguyen dynasty. Transfer by road to Hoi An and enjoy the spectacular panorama from the top of the Cloudy Pass. Arrival in Hoi An. Overnight in 4* hotel
After breakfast, we cycle the narrow paths and enjoy the peaceful countryside before getting arrived to Tra Que herb garden veggie village. We visit the local farmers and listen to them talking about their “Organic farm” and their daily lives. We keep biking throughout the rice paddy fields, the shrimp farms, and the picturesque landscape to Cam Thanh Ecological village where we leave the bikes and the motorboat takes us for a trip on Thu Bon River to the water palm forest. Then comes an exciting experience! We board a rowing basket boat to move deep into the channels to explore the amazing beauty of the nature and have fun of catching crab in the traditional local way. Lunch is served in a local house then transfer to the old town: the Japanese covered bridge, the ancient house with the architecture influenced by Japanese and Chinese design, the Cantonese Assembly Hall, Hoi An market, the old streets. In the evening free time to explore the real life of Hoi An. Overnight in 4* hotel
The morning flight takes us to the biggest city of Vietnam. Formerly known as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is not only of a largest commercial city but also a national hub of science, technology and industry. Welcome by the guide and transfer to the restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, we experience the scooter ride to visit the city: Chinatown with the bustling Binh Tay market, Thien Hau temple – one of the oldest temples of the city, the War Museum, the municipal Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral. Enjoy Vietnamese coffee before getting back to the hotel. Overnight in 3* hotel.
The adventure comes to end with the discovery of the watery Mekong delta. Transfer by road to Ben Tre. Take a boat trip on the Mekong and visit to the handicraft brick kiln then go into the small canal bordered by longan trees, papaya trees, and water coconut trees. We leave the boat to watch how local people make candies with coconut and taste the fresh seasonal fruits. A motor-cart takes us on the country path to a beautiful typical house for lunch. After a short break, we visit to the old local house to witness a large collection of antique ceramics. Experience a rowing sampan along the water palms to a motor boat that takes us back to the pier. Transfer back to Saigon for flight departure to next destination. End of our services.
