Arrival at the airport. Welcome by the guide and transfer to hotel. With a history of over thousand years, Hanoi is a city of lakes, shaded boulevards and public parks dotted with French villas and historical monuments. The old center of the city is itself an architectural museum in the peaceful and vibrant atmosphere. In the late afternoon we hop on the trishaw to discover the 36 ancient handcraft streets and have welcome dinner at an authentic restaurant. Overnight at 4* hotel.
The full day city tour starts from Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum square, the former presidential residence, then to the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, Tran Quoc pagoda and ends the morning with lunch at a typical restaurant. In the afternoon, we discover the museum of ethnography, Emperor of Jade Temple, the Sword Lake and enjoy the amazing traditional water puppet show. Dinner at local restaurant and transfer to the railways station for train to Lao Cai. Overnight on board (Air conditioned 04 berths cabin share).
We arrive in Lao Cai in the early morning, have breakfast at local restaurant and get transferred to Bac Ha the weekly largest ethnic fair of the North West highlands. Ethnic minorities from remote villages come to the market every Sunday to exchange their homemade products, meet each other, and enjoy life after hard working days. It’s a chance to explore the real local life, recognize the identities of major ethnics by their specific colorful traditional dresses and customs. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, we take a drive downhill then a short walk to Trung Do village inhabited by Tay people. We meet the villagers, listen to them talking about their daily life and sip a cup of tea at a Tay family. Drive to Sa Pa. Dinner and overnight in 4* hotel.
After breakfast we hike to Lao Chai, a village of Black Hmong then to Ta Van village of the Zay – a minority living mainly in the mountainous areas. Back to Sapa for lunch at restaurant then we drive to Ta Phin. The area is extremely spectacular not only with the mighty landscape but also the unmixed culture of the two largest ethnic groups, Black Hmong and Red Dao, living together. We walk around the villages and explore their daily activities. Transfer to Lao Cai for night train back to Hanoi. Dinner at local restaurant. The train arrives in Hanoi in the early morning. The bus takes us to the restaurant for breakfast then leads to Halong. The name Ha Long comes from a legendary tale of the dragon diving from the sky into the sea. We board the lovely junk for an extraordinary cruise through thousands of islands, islets, rocks, etc… and enjoy lunch (buffet) while sailing on the bay. In the afternoon, we hop on a local row boat to explore Luon cave. The rest of the day is for either swimming, relaxing on the beach or climbing the Rock Mountain where a spectacular panorama can be seen. Watch the sun descending on the bay while cruising to the anchorage. Sumptuous dinner will be served and overnight on board 4*.
Welcome the new day with Tai Chi class on the deck. Enjoy coffee, tea and bakeries while cruising to the Surprise – one of the most impressive grottoes of the bay. We continue sailing in the splendid beauty and disembark in the late morning for a transfer to the airport for the flight to Hue. Lunch en route. Arrival, dinner and overnight at 4* hotel.
Capital of the last Vietnamese dynasty since 1801, Hue is preserving not only the royal life style but also a poetic charm of a city. We drive along the river to visit Minh Mang – the most majestic imperial tomb, Thien Mu pagoda and a poetic garden. We enjoy lunch with specialties of Hue then continue by road to the Great citadel built in 1805. The complex, a World Cultural Heritage site, includes the Noon Gate, the Supreme Harmony Palace, the Forbidden City, the Royal theatre, The Great Urns, etc. Lunch at local restaurant. An extraordinary experience comes with the ride on motorbike through the countryside to Chuon lagoon. Enjoy the sunset on the lagoon while sipping cold drink and seafood. Back to hotel for dinner and ovenight.
After breakfast, we drive along the coast, cross the Cloudy Pass and arrive in Da Nang. Known as Tourane under French rule, Da Nang is the largest city in the center of Vietnam and one of the major port cities of the country. We arrive in the late morning in Hoi An (ex Faifo) – a well-preserved example of the South East Asian trading port of the 15th to the 18th century. After lunch at the restaurant, we tour the old town: the Japanese covered bridge, the ancient house with the architecture influenced by Japanese and Chinese design, the Cantonese Assembly Hall, the handicraft workshop and Hoi An market. Check-in the 4* resort. Dinner and overnight.

Formerly known as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh is the largest city of Vietnam, with a population of approximately 8 millions. Wherever we go, everyone always seems busy from buying, selling, working or just enjoying life. Despite the skyscrapers blocking the view of the sky, there are still many architectural vestiges from the French colonial era. Full day visit Chinatown, Binh Tay market, Thien Hau pagoda. Lunch at restaurant. Pm visit the Museum of War Remnants, a lacquer ware factory, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office. Free time for shopping at Ben Thanh market. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
After breakfast, we take a road to Tay Ninh, a province sharing border with Cambodia. We visit the Great Temple of Caodaisme – an authentic religion of the country and watch the fellows carrying out the Noon mass. After lunch, the excursion continues to Cu Chi former guerillas base – an elaborate underground complex dug by hand in the late 1940s – including: the hideouts, the surgery, the non-smoke kitchen, etc. Try to detect the entry and going down into the tunnels to experience how guerillas were living and fighting during the last war. Back to Saigon for dinner and overnight.
Today we explore the watery Mekong delta. After breakfast, we depart to Ben Tre and embark a local boat for a cruise on the mighty river. We visit a handicraft brick kiln then enter into a small canal embraced with longan trees, papaya trees, and water coconut trees. We have the chance to watch local making sweets from coconut first extract and try out fruits straight from the garden. Up next, a motor-cart takes us on the dust path to a very authentic house for lunch. After a short break, a sampan rides us on a creek along the water palms to our boat. We get back to the pier where our bus is waiting for us for a transfer to Cai Be. Check in the 4* resort and free time to enjoy the pure air of the countryside. Dinner in the resort.
Transfer back to Saigon with lunch en route. Arrival and check in the hotel. Free time for shopping. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
