Poetic Hue and rustic life of Hoi An

05 Days/ 04 Nights

Day 1
Hue –Arrival (_/ _/ _)

Arrival at the airport. Welcome by local guide and transfer to the hotel. Hue has been the last dynasty capital and is known as the city of poetry in Vietnam. Free time to relax or explore by your own the charm of the city. Overnight in 4* hotel.

Day 2
Hue (B/ L/ D)

After breakfast we take a road along Perfume river to visit the majestic tomb of Minh Mang Emperor and Thien Mu pagoda. Enjoy a romantic sampan ride to Thuy Bieu where we cycle around the village under the shade of the fruit trees, visit the orchards and talk with the local. Then we attend to an exciting cooking class and taste delicious Hue specialties in the garden of local house. After lunch we experience a traditional medicinal foot bath and relax with a typical foot massage. In the afternoon, we continue the visit by car to the Great citadel built in the early XIX century. The complex, World Cultural Heritage site, includes Noon Gate, Supreme Harmony Palace, Forbidden City, Royal theatre, Great Urns, etc. A discovery of Dong Ba market where plenty of specialties of Hue ends the excursion of the day.

Day 3
Hue – Hoi An (B/ L/ D)

In the morning we drive southwards. Spectacular panorama can be seen from the top of the famous Cloudy pass. We visit the museum of Cham culture in Da Nang to witness an extensive collection of Cham artifacts then continue to Hoi An. Check-in 4* hotel and free time at leisure.

Day 4
Hoi An (B/ L/ _)

Today we discover of the real life of Hoi An. We visit to a local rice paper workshop then cycle to Cam Thanh village and enjoy the peaceful countryside. We stop on the way to watch people working on their rice paddy-fields and continue to the fish sauce house. The path heads to the village where we will be amazed of how the coconut tree is useful for the day life of the local. The excursion ends with an exciting experience on the bamboo basket boat along the river bordered with the water palm. Lunch is served at a local restaurant before getting back to the town for the afternoon visit: Japanese covered bridge, ancient house with the architecture influenced by Japanese and Chinese design, Cantonese Assembly Hall, handicraft workshops and Hoi An market.

Day 5
Hoi An – Da Nang – Departure (B/ _/ _)

Free time for last shopping or relax till transfer to the airport for flight to next destination.
